Treat people with respect
Welcome newcomers and leave room for different experiences. You can disagree with an idea, recommendation, or product claim without attacking the person sharing it.
Harassment, threats, hate speech, personal insults, and deliberately provoking other members have no place here. If a conversation gets heated, take a step back.
Make your contribution useful
Ask questions, share what you have learned, and help others find answers. Use a clear topic title, choose a relevant category, and keep replies connected to the discussion. A quick search may turn up a conversation you can join.
Share your own experience honestly. When making a factual claim, link to the original source where possible, and be willing to correct a mistake. Avoid duplicate posts and repeated messages that derail a topic.
Write in your own words
AI-generated posts are not allowed.
Do not paste answers from ChatGPT or other AI tools into topics or replies. This community depends on contributions written by its members.
- You may use AI privately to research a question or think through an idea.
- Write anything you share here yourself, in your own words.
- If you share an insight or conclusion learned from an AI conversation, clearly disclose that AI was a source.
- You may also link to that AI conversation for transparency and context. A link is optional; the disclosure is required.
Protect everyone’s privacy
Public topics can be read by anyone and may appear in search engines. Share only the personal or health information you are comfortable making public.
Do not publish someone else’s contact details, private messages, medical records, or other personal information without their permission. Remove identifying details from screenshots and documents before posting.
Be open about your interests
If you have a professional, financial, employment, or affiliate connection to something you discuss, disclose it clearly in the post. This applies to recommendations, reviews, and links.
Do not use the forum for spam, disguised advertising, impersonation, or unsolicited sales messages. Keep any permitted buying and selling in the appropriate category and follow its rules.
Share responsibly
Hearing needs, preferences, and outcomes differ. Describe what worked for you without promising the same result for someone else, and distinguish personal experience from professional advice.
Forum conversations cannot replace individual care from a qualified professional. Do not present a post as a diagnosis or pressure another member to ignore their clinician’s advice.
Let moderators help
If you see a post that breaks these rules, sign in and use the flag button labeled “Report” below the post. Add a short explanation to help moderators understand the concern. Avoid replying just to escalate an argument.
Moderators may edit or remove content, close discussions, or restrict accounts to protect the community. Repeated or serious violations may lead to a suspension or ban. If you have a question about a moderation decision, contact staff privately rather than derailing a public topic.
