I believe I put in a request for the Compass software on the section of this site and you also need the NOAH USB interface that I bought on ebay for around $100. I first used it for my Philips and had not planned to use it for the Widex but then wanted to work on my music program and my audi is NOT experienced in that.
So I sat down the other day and came up with 3 music programs. The std one, one with only about 10 gain at lowest sound levels using a 1.0 compression ratio. The 3rd one with more gain at the lowest sound level of 15 dB and 1.0 compression from middle sounds to low sounds but 1.3 between loudest sounds and middle sounds levels. All feedback and noise reductions are off for all of these. The last one with 15 dB gains almost across the board sounds pretty good. Is it optimal? Probably not and I’ve not engaged in any complex determination of if certain frequencies sound louder than others for me. The 10 dB version sounded too quiet and muffled. The stock music program too shrill at high frequencies. While this rd program is not great for speech it’s not all that bad and I’ve not tested it in a loud environment with other musicians but might have to turn it down thru the app in that case. I suspect a music expert at adjustments might know how to optimise this for me but for now it works.
