DSL is the OTHER big independent rationale developed out of Canada.
I have v5 Pediatric now. It’s quite difficult to achieve target without closed coupling, but in my case more gain in the 4-8kHz region could be priceless.

There’s also adult noise and DSL child noise. This is what it seems like NAL is proposing too, right? Separate note targets. I’ll be interested to compare and contrast. Although I suspect the dataset used for the NL3 targets is much bigger.

I am limited by the imperfections of the power domes now, especially low feedback threshold over 2.5 kHz. When I’ll get the titanium cShell with 0.6mm vent, things will then become more interesting.
I will definitely describe my experience with (almost) fully achieved target in v5 Pediatric.
I expect NAL-NL3 in the 2026, hence my DSL v5 curiosity.

I didn’t see them in the Phonak Target software. Perhaps they’re involved in “Speech in (Loud) Noise” or even “Spheric Speech Clarity” program?

I understand. I learn something new every day. So there should be done two ?
- one for quiet program (all 3x Gs)
- second for speech in noise DSL (again all 3x Gs)?
