Best Bluetooth capabilities hearing aid

The reason alI am getting the Phonak Spheres is my VA audiologist of 7 years, said at this time the Spheres are the best technology for my hearing loss needs. I have a really bad time with speech understanding. My audiologist has taken me from basically being a hermit to being able to enjoy being with family and friends. I know enjoy lectures, concerts, and going to my church services and men’s Bible study. I have the INTENT1 aids and they work great except for really noisy environments. I still miss understand a good bit of the time, but it is so much better than I have had before. I am nervous about switching from Oticon which I have worn front 15 years. But my audiologist fits more Phonak aids than all of the other brands put together. If it is possible to make the switch it will be because my audiologist knows my hearing loss requirements, and will guide through it, and I am someone that will never give up or not try to make it work.

I don’t think so - I notice that my drain on the right-side Sphere is always (very) slightly more than on the left. This could be because my gain is a bit higher there, but I suspect that it’s Bluetooth.

Now days nothing is totally hardware the hardware can take on many shapes due to the firmware that really makes it work

So I’m doing experiment. Start with both HAs off. Start left HA. Note that it connects to phone in BT part of control panel.

Will not accept stream from phone.

Start right HA. Streaming works fine to both ears. Shut off right aid. Nope, Left aid will not stream again.

I don’t know what they meant by it switching back and forth. But that right one is still necessary.

I’m open to ideas for further exploration.
