Even Realities Review?

Not A review of the glasses yet just the process.

Since the second trial with the glasses was very positive I decided to get the glasses with progressive prescription lenses. I was prepared to purchase online and have them fitted remotely, but much to my surprise I found a local business now selling them. According to the local Optometrist Even Realities is traveling around and selecting businesses to provide their glasses and prescription lenses. There was a slight up charge for the glasses, ring , and clip-on, but the progressive lenses were quite expensive. The fitting is done by the local business but the lenses and of course the glasses are manufactured by Even Realities. Four to five week process.

Internet connection issue can be solved by using MentraOS with a captioning app that works offline. That's one of the attractions of Even Realities - they allow a great deal of tinkering so you can set them up the way you want.

Yes Mentra is excellent. Text is much more readable and adjustable. With Even OS have to slide glasses down on my nose to read as you can not move it up far enough up. Still working out integration with the other mini apps. Great addition to the G2s for running transcription.

I have a similar feeling about the glasses, about how it sits on my nose and tbh I hope they come up with a new design soon! But honestly it helps me so much with my everyday conversations. The captions are way too accurate and yes it works offline! I like that it has a simple and an advanced mode that helps with choosing how you want the controls. Its nice that the subscription is optional (but I recommend it)
