My idea may not work for you as I notice on re read that yours are RIEs. The Domes I speak of are the BTE domes. But, again this may help someone with BTE dome issues. Although a Audi should pick up on this.
Yeah, dome fitting to make sure it fits in the ear canal properly should be the very first thing the audi does in the very first fitting. If an audi sends you away with the wrong dome in your ear on the first fitting then they’re not very good. This is very basic stuff for them to do.
