Even as a retired “Rev” I would try to help you if I could, despite your inappropriate ranting here. But I do not know much about the Roger Select. As I said, I would like to try some and see what I can learn.

I couldn’t go back to the original provider because she was scared of covid and vanished. This is not my fault no matter how much you want to blame me.
I don’t want to blame you. It sounds like things have been really terrible for you. This has been an absolutely awful time generally, and it sounds like it has been extra awful for you specifically for a lot of reasons. Plus, I am very familiar with how when you are in a dark place, even your reason can become a bit unbalanced. I think that, on the whole, people here WOULD like to help you. But tell us what you need? Do you want help with making the Select work for you, or do you just want some commiseration for now? Either is a reasonable answer, we just need to know.
I also know that when you are in the dark place, it feels like it will last forever. It won’t. There will be good things again, and you will be able to see them.
But what’s the first thing that would help you?

I withdraw my earlier comment about some people who can’t be helped. The issue here is that the help that is needed is not the type of help that this board should provide because it really has nothing to do with hearing or hearing devices. There are other places that provide the help needed.

Do you have a “box” supplied by your internet supplier that your TV is plugged into to give it a signal? If so, on the back side of this box you will see extra RCA connectors - a red one and a white one. You can plug the little charging stand the Select sits in into the red and white outlets on the box… If you don’t have this cable you can order one on Amazon. This will provide a signal to the Select. Just have to turn the Select on to get the signal to your ears.
