Getting a helmet over the shouldn’t be a problem. Might have to try on a few to see which one works best for you.

Wow everyone on this forum is so supportive! Thank you much for all the well wishes! It’s only been a week and a couple days so I’m still a ways out from activation. I go for my 2-week post op this Thursday and then activation is on August 1st. They put me at exactly four weeks to turn this bad boy on! I’m excited!
My head is still tender but I am back to work. It’s hard for me to hold back from strenuous activity so I’m taking my days off to rest. Anybody get headaches for a while after?

Looking good! There is a lot of swelling for a few weeks, so don’t get to bummed out about appearances I am excited for your activation!

Y’all are so amazing!! Thank you for all the well wishes! It’s been one heck of a month since activation but I’m doing really well! I had 88% word understanding without background noise on my last test!! 44% w/background noise which is same as two aids but I’m getting better each day! Thank you all!

So great to hear of your progress!!! As my Audi tells me, it just keeps getting better! You have a great, positive attitude and that will carry you forward. Best wishes!

That so great to hear you are doing very well. It truly is amazing how quickly the brain adapts to a new way of hearing. Keep up with the good work you are doing with improving. Keep us updated pleas.

I got a cool new haircut for the Sonnet. I didn’t need to but it just felt better! I kept knocking the thing off my head when I’d brush or run my fingers through my hair! Thank you all for the positive wishes! I go back for another mapping on October 3! Woot!
