Two bluetooth devices simultaneously on Phonak P90 - what does that really mean?

I’m not sure what you mean. Except for the LE connections for the app (to each aid) the device only connects to one aid for audio stream, the bt master. Typically the right aid, but it can be reassigned to left in target.
If you were paired to two devices in the way I mean, say a phone and a tablet, you would probably have three pairings in the phone (two le, one classic bt) and one pairing with the tablet, classic bt. One pairing of bt classic can be connected at a time. The phone or the tablet.

If I understand your question correctly, it means you can have more than one Bluetooth device paired to your aids, but you can only listen to one at a time. For instance, you can pair a radio, and phone simultaneously, but if your phone rings, your radio must be muted.
