Some experience of using external mics with More1 and iPhone. May be it will help someone. 1)Rode VideoMic-ME-L. Plugs directly in iPhone lightning jack - main problem - case prevents good contact so iPhone has to be taken out off the case. To use: - start Oticon Companion app on iPhone (“General” program); plug in Rode mic to iPhone lightning jack; switch on (tap - “ear” icon on control screen) Live Listen mode on iPhone (if Ok - watch tone control icon is lit purple on Companion app); try Rode mic - now You’ll hear sound with some reverb - because iPhone mic and Rode mic works in parallel - to avoid this - switch off iPhone LiveListen (tap “ear” icon - it will lit off). Now You can use Rode mic as external sound source and adjust tone using Companion app. Volume may be controlled through iPhone and Companion app settings.
2. Boya BY-V1 mic - lapel mic with BlueTooth connectivity with iPhone. Main problem - some time loses BlueTooth connection with iPhone (may be due to interference with HA), however - more convenient. The procedure is the same as above. Hope, the procedure will be same for mics of other manufacturers.
