My overall take on phone compatibility.: I feel like I need a flowchart. Two basic types of Bluetooth: LE and Classic. Only hearing aids that use Classic are Sonova (Phonak) and I think a new Signia hearing aid. Just about any phone should work with these although I’d still recommend sticking with iPhone, Samsung or Google. LE Bluetooth can broken down into 1) Made for iPhone, 2) and 3). If you’re limited to Made for iPhone and ASHA, I’d stick with an iPhone. If you’ve got LE Audio, then phone selection is very limited–recent Google and Samsung phones. Compatibility is still iffy enough that I’d confirm that I could return aids/ phone if things don’t work out.
