Hard to keep Phonak L90-R mics muted!

Regardless of how I mute the mics in the L90-Rs, any of the following actions on my iPhone unmutes them: turning off the display; starting or pausing play of a podcast; opening or closing the Phone app; and I’m not sure what else. This is a nuisance for me. Any ideas how I can keep the mics muted until I explicitly unmute them?

It seems likely all those actions on your phone cause an audible notification to be sent which changes programs in your aids. When they return your setting is gone. Shut off the sound notifications and that should help.

The only action of those I listed that generates an audible notification is turning off the display. Opening or closing any app, Phone app or other, does not. I did find a “Lock sound” toggle to control sound notification for turning off the display, i.e., lock the phone, and that works to prevent unmuting by that action. But I’m still stuck on the other actions.
