How to connect CS44A small connector end to Audeo M

I am trying to connect my newly acquired used Audeo M90 to the Hi-Pro. I have the CS44A cables which I use on my Audeo V90 but the small connector does not reach down into the battery opening of the M90 when I open the battery door . Does the battery door need to be removed to get the connector to mate to the ? I have a NoahLink on order but before it gets here I would like to explore these HAs using a direct connection.

The battery door is very easy to remove, just push the pin out, but like you I never had issues myself on the older models from Phonak, the cable connector is a bit flexible tho, but the battery door seems the easiest way for now, is the connector end like this.

Will the pin be difficult to re-insert?
Yes, that’s the connector. I thought I’d also do another search on CS44A cables in case there is a flavor that has a longer tip. Sometimes that happens when a new application comes out for an existing cable.
edit: I found a version of the cable with a long, straight connector. This will reach down into the battery compartment onthe M90’s.

Yes the pin is very easy to insert again, those straight ones would work (possibly they were made for the , custom etc?) only problem I see is are you gonna be able to program wearing them? Thank goodness for wireless programming!

Tenkan, you’re right about the difficulty of programming while wearing them, it might be cumbersome but I also have the NoahLink coming which will need updating and driver installation so this is my back up until I’m up and running with wireless.
