I have always used with standard tubes and full shell molds. I thought I’d go for SP, which is more than I theoretically need. My loss is generally in the range of severe, not profound.
I tried a pair of Phonak Lumity SP, and wow, what a difference. The aids are not at all overpowered, but unusually smooth and clear. I’m now going to trial Phonak Lumity UP and Oticon Xceed3 UP (which is obviously more than I need) to see if I get an equally good result. Of course, I’ll keep them well below full gain.
BTW, I’ve worn aids all my life and size and “cosmetics” are unimportant. Anyone out there with a similar experience?
