Hello everyone. I would like to share my experience with the Phonak Infinio Sphere hearing aids. I wear a Widex Evoke 440 hearing aid and I saw that the widex allure was released and I was curious to test it. I should mention that the evoke is still working well and I am very happy with it. I went to my audiologist to see if he had a widex allure demo but he told me that he hadn’t received a demo yet. However, he had a phonak infinio sphere I90. I saw that it was highly praised on youtube and I thought I would try something different for the first time from another company. I can’t get accomodate with it. I played around with the settings in the app but it seems to me that the sound is a bit mechanical. I really want to like it but I’m starting to think that maybe I have a problem and maybe I’ve accomodate too much with widex evoke which seems to me to have a very natural sound. I still have a few days to test it but I don’t think I would buy it in the future. With the phonak I don’t understand speech that well even with the total suppression of background noise. for me, intelligibility and clarity of speech are very important in a hearing aid. I don’t have this problem with Evoke. I was even asked at work by my two colleagues with hearing aids which hearing aid I wear. They observed that I understand quite well and were curious about what I wear. I also tested Moment and it seems to me that it is no better than Evoke, at least for me. It seemed to me that it was heard too slowly. I’m afraid that maybe the Allure won’t be anything wow for me either and I’m thinking that in the future when the time comes to replace the Evokes, I don’t know what I would buy. I think I will stay with the Evoks for another 2-3 years.I know that I wrote a lot but I just wanted to share my experience. Good day everyone and I apologize for any mistakes in expression because I do not speak English very well.
