First of all, a note: my English isn’t that good, so I’m using Google Translate. Sorry about that.
I’m 55 years old, from northern Germany, and I’ve owned a Unitron Vista v3 (supposedly a Moxi v3) hearing aid for three months. Yes, just one, on the left side. My right ear is completely fine. An artery in my left ear is pressing on my auditory nerve, which is why I get this strange . Now I’d like to optimize the programming myself because I don’t want to test my audiologist’s patience too much, and I’ll probably need the TrueFit software. Is it possible to save the current settings from the hearing aid and restore them as a backup? Perhaps someone can send me the link? I’ll order the NohaLink right away.

Welcome to the forum, great your giving a go, do read the user guides as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time, and yes its very easy to save your current settings from your Audiologist in TrueFit, as you have the Noahlink wireless on the way I’m sure you’ll be up and running in no time.

Hello from Germany, thank you for the help. I’m stuck now. Nohalink is searching, but it can’t find my hearing aid correctly. It’s recognized as an “unknown hearing system,” and the S/N is correct. My device is a Vista v3 - 312. Could it be that I need a special TrueFit version for Vista devices? Similar to the mobile app, it’s called Hearing Remote and not Remote Plus App.

Yeah something isn’t right, Vista can you confirm that this model is listed in TrueFit, also what version of TrueFit are you using, could be you need the correct version of TrueFit, would be very disappointing if these are locked out.

Yep so you gotta get that special flavoured version for those then, I hate rebranded models that do this, Specsavers and most Amplifon as well :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Thanks for the confirmation. I’ll ask my audiologist nicely and try to explain to her that it would be more relaxing for her to give me the software so I don’t have to call her every week ;-)). Maybe chocolate or pralines would help? I’ll report back.
