Please help me get used to hearing aids!

The easy way to use teams with that don’t directly connect to your laptop is this:

Install the teams app on your phone and log into the teams call from both devices simultaneously. Select ‘no audio’ on the laptop.

I have a company supplied iPad, and I could have used it and just listened with my hearing aids normally and not connected in any way. I would never buy a Windows PC anyway because I hate Microsoft, but it’s my employer’s device. If I bought a PC, I would run Lennox. I have no idea what my work PC capabilities are. That still doesn’t solve the problem why my hearing aids can’t connect to my iPhone and iPad at the same time and automatically switch between the two devices as did my Apple AirPods. That’s either a Jabra issue or it’s an Apple issue. But it was wonderful.

Joking apart. We all have our opinions from our places in the world, and our experiences and opinions of Companies. Personally, I’m the opposite of you, as I avoid Apple devices like the plague. However, I was given an iPhone (about 2018) as my company phone. Well, it certainly did it’s job, but I found it too rigid, and uncustomisable.

Each to our own, I suppose. I get you with Microsoft, they shafted Lotus and many other software companies by just bulldozing them.

The only good thing about Microcrap is that Bill Gates is giving away his billions to medical research and may beat the government to finding a cure for cancer. The thing I like about Apple’s stuff is that for the non technical user, like me, it just works. My first Macintosh computer was a 1985 512k Macintosh. I didn’t have to know anything about computers to get my real work done. Windows is so customizable that it’s difficult to figure out how to fix something simple when it stops working. My company laptop, at home, the audio stopped working. I can use a headset at home but I have to take out my hearing aids and the audio works through the speakers at the office. Making your work easier is what computers or smart funds are supposed to do.

I only add that Microsoft from Steve Ballmer’s timeline is quite a different company than it is now. Nevertheless, I still think that healthy skepticism is indicated, as it is for all corporations.

Jabra offers at least 2 accessories that would allow you to stream from a PC - the Multi-mic and Multi-mic+. You can buy a Multi-mic for $26.36 from an ebay seller, although you’d also need cables to plug into your computer and to charge the Multi-mic via a mini USB port on the Multi-mic. The Multi-mic most definitely connects to the Multi-mic via .

My guess is that purchasing a Multi-mic or Multi-mic+, even at the retail cost of $250 (includes the cables), would be much better for your health than continuing to complain about a problem that in fact does not exist.

I get that you don’t want to have to buy another device to stream from Windows. Consider, however, that Windows + device does the job for far less than Made For Iphone, and it’s much easier to troubleshoot and fix when something goes wrong.
