I was fitted with Jabra EP 20’s with #2MP receivers. Later I bought a used set of Jabra EP 20’s that came with #3HP receivers. I ordered a set of #2MP receivers to replace the #3HP’s. When I replaced the receivers I was surprised that the MP’s where louder than the HP’s. From what I read the LP, MP & HP stood for (LP low power) (MP medium power) & (HP high power). So I was surprised that the new #2MP’s where louder than the #3HP’s. Could this be that the #2MP’s where new and the #3HP’s where old? Or could it be that the #3HP’s being longer sat farther back behind my ears and the microphone did not pick up the front sound as well as the shorter #2MP? Or could it be that the HP’s focused on the High Frequencies and the MP’s focused on the Mid Range Freq’s that I have set higher gains?
