As for targeting you, no dude, you’ve just made a few unsubstantiated points.
Can you point to the few unsubstantiated points? Thanks
Glad I’m living rent free in California though, as it goes, I’ve been surfing tonight too!
Surfing is a Hawaiian thing brought to California in the late 1800s.
I am originally from your part of the world (and likely share some of your concerns about some of the crazy things that are happening) but also somewhat confused how you are living rent free in California? I get it you don’t mean it literally.

I called jabra, and they told me they could either be made in denmark, china or bloomington, indiana. But they couldn’t tell me where my particular pair are made
There’s a good chance your phone call was being handled by a third-party customer service rep (maybe even in a fourth country, where it’s cheap to provide phone support), so the not-unreasonable spin on that answer is that the person who fielded your question, who may not even be a Jabra employee, has no idea where your aids were made.
But to me, anyway, it seems quite likely that somebody working for Jabra, informed with the serial number of your aids, could tell you where they were made, because almost everything of value these days is tracked by serial numbers from the point of manufacture to the person to whom the item was delivered. (Keep in mind: think cars, but many other goods, too: final assembly may take place in one of several countries, but that is the piecing together of component parts built in multiple other countries!)
One key reason is plain: if a recall or other service becomes necessary, they want to know who, exactly, needs to be notified, and not waste a lot of company resources recalling unaffected product. Another reason is theft enroute during transport, or inside-job employee theft, both of which are a huge problem $$$-wise for corporations these days.
And getting back to OP’s point, perhaps… most products these days are clearly labeled as to the country where they were assembled. Who knows how accurate that is, but why duck that question, even if only by leaving a label off the box?? Maybe there’s a good reason, but it seems evasive to me, and in political terms, I don’t even care where the flippin’ aids were made, if they’re a great value, as many people agree: Jabras are.
