I got my Jabra ha from Costco a few months ago. I also bought ba210 v2 transmitter for my television. It works very well except that it frequently does not reconnect to the ha after a telephone call. Sometimes it can be remedied by powering the transmitter off and then on but at other times I need to make my iPhone forget the ha and then go through the pair process which is cumbersome. Have others encountered this issue? Any suggestions for work arounds?
The Resound Vivia/Jabra 30 only allow one active Bluetooth connection at a time. On the other hand, Phonak allows two Bluetooth connections, so you won’t encounter this issue with Phonak.
If you make a call and then hang up, the connection between the phone and the aids can remain active. The aids cannot automatically determine which device you intend to use next—whether you’ll stay connected to the phone or switch to another device.
Within the apple ecosystem, you don’t have to disconnect one device when switching audio. The setting “Audio Handoff” in settings → accessibility → hearing devices manages that “automatically” (only for IOS/MacOS devices).
You don’t need to unpair the aids, you can go to settings->accessibility → hearing devices and switch off the stream function.
I don’t have but based on what I’ve read here, you can go to the app and select the auracast transmitter after the call without having to do reboots and unpairing. Is the auracast selection in the app not working?
The Resound TV Streamer II and the newer Resound TV Streamer + are designed from the ground up to work with Resound/Jabra hearing aids. I have and use both with my Jabra 30s and they work as expected for me.
