Hi everyone,
I’ve been reading this thread with great interest.
I’ve just bought a Noahlink Wireless on eBay, and I’m now waiting to find a reasonably priced used pair of Philips HearLink 9050 miniRITEs to experiment with and learn more about self-fitting.
I already own a pair of 9050s that were professionally fitted by my audiologist. Eventually, I’d also like to see if I can adjust the second-hand pair to match the settings of my professionally fitted pair as closely as possible.
So the missing piece at the moment is HearSuite. @tenkan, if you could please send me a PM with some information on where I can obtain a suitable version of Philips HearSuite for the 9050, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks to everyone in this thread for sharing your experience — it’s been very helpful!

Welcome to the forum @LuCables great your giving a go, be sure to read the user guides before starting, as you have the Noahlink wireless on the way I’m sure you’ll be up and running in no time, yeah you’ll probably have to do a little bit of DIY on the ones you have now, the secondary market for has had a bit of a hit with eBay bots trying to stop people listing now as well.

Thanks for the warm welcome, tenkan!
Yes, I’ll definitely take some time to read the guides carefully before changing anything. Since my current 9050s were professionally fitted and are working well, I’d like to be very cautious with them and preserve their original settings before doing any experiments.
Ideally, I’d still like to find a second-hand pair of 9050s for the experiments, although, as you mentioned, finding used hearing aids on eBay seems to be getting more difficult.
Thanks again for the advice and for helping me get started!
