Lots of truths here - and I am FIRMLY (for now) in the Phonakian camp with 2 pairs each of rechargeables, 312s AND the Roger mics. Drives me NUTS how Phonak is so stingy with the mics. My V2 Roger ONLY lets me pair + connect with a SINGLE pair of aids. But despite that so-called constraint, a Phonak rep got both my Roger mics cross-paired and able to connect with the two sets of aids I use. For now, those are my two pairs of 312 battery aids. Why can’t the mic easily pair + connect with ALL my aids?
Many have posted directions to unpair and repair a Roger mic with as many aids as they own, but I managed to stab my Roger to death by poking it with the pin to UNpair an old pair of aids. It simply would not let me unpair them, and then I poked the button to death, so that device needed replacing.
Needlessly expensive and total cludge with Phonak accessories.
However, I am VERY happy with the sound quality and speech enhancement of my 312s tho, which is so good that I use my Roger mics for TV streaming only now.
I trialed the Oticon Intent, but had a very unresponsive audi fit them - she couldn’t be bothered with any adjustments during the trial, so I returned them and that kept my feet firmly in Phonak’s camp.
