Dont forget insurance

A disastrous working week a few months back. 3 nights away from home and forgot to take my chargers ( kanso 2). Scrimped and eeked out 2 nights. Finished the business trip. Put both Kanso in my pocket as both were flat. Drove 200 kms home. Got home only 1 Kanso in my pocket AAAAHHH!. Back 120 kms to the gas station where i filled up and there was the other one- squashed on the driveway. $A8000. Thankfully I had declared them on my home contents insurance and eventuall got a replacement
DONT FORGET TO INSURE THEM

Not sure how replacements work in Oz but in the states Cochlear will replace them once if lost. Could be wrong about this but pretty sure.

Since you went back and found your K2, Cochlear would have replaced it. Did you talk to Cochlear about this?

It’s always scary when a hearing device gets lost. Especially for those that can not hear without them.

Rick it’s the same downunder… Cochlear OZ will replace free one time only within the warranty time frame of the device. Outside of this timeframe it’s up to the recipient to replace. Hence why I have mine insured for worldwide coverage on my home contents insurance.
