BerkshiresI may sound a bit odd posting this, but my recently acquired Starkey Edge ’s have been saying “Home” for no apparent reason. It has been intermittent but the other day it happened three times. I know the other day I was NOT at home but cannot remember if previous experiences occurred while I was also not home ornate.
Short version, on Thursday morning, with my HAs in place for about 30 minutes I left one to go for blood work. While I was driving away my HA’s went momentarily dead and the voice said “Home”. The devices then returned to operational and I was on my merry way. Later in the morning my wife and I went shopping and at about the same distance from home it occurred again. Later in the afternoon we took a walk, and again at about the same distance from home the voice in my head spoke to me! I can almost correlate the first two times as a time related thing, but the third time I was walking so it was a longer period of time but oddly the same approximate distance from home. These occurred using two different routes. I’ve tried to search the topic but I can’t seem to find anything.
There is no specific time related occurrence that I can remember and until yesterday when it happened three times I never was able to place any sort of distance from home on it either. My TV adapter was not operating any of the times and at least for the early AM time hadn’t been on since about 10PM the night before.
Batteries were fresh as in within 24-36 hours.
