Hi Fellow Hard Of Hearing-ers and DIYers,
I am VERY tempted to go down the path.
This is because I am not having great results with my new Phonak i90 Spheres….or more to the point, with audiologists who can make them sound amazing for me.
I had a wonderful audiologist who got them initially set up and working to a 6 out of 10 (good), but she has now left her clinic. I saw the main audiologist two days ago and he totally ruined the good start the original person made, so much so that I went back today and got him to put it back to how it was two days ago.
I am an IT person and a musician - I downloaded the Target software, and I am confident that if I purchase a Noahlink Wireless 2 gadget I can slowly learn and do a better job than the clinic I purchased my from 2 weeks ago.
Does the Target software “pull” from the hearing aids ? Will it recognise my 6 out of 10 settings and thus I can start from this kind of sort of ok base line ?
Or, does it only “push” to the hearing aids ? And therefore I will need to start from a clean slate brand new out of the box set up ? Or somehow convince the audiologist to export a copy of my “file” and email it to me, so that I can import it into my copy of Target ?
Thanks,
