Advices for Phonak users, which experiences unexplained changing to unwanted Bluetooth+streaming program

Today I had totally PITA, because my Sphere constantly changes program from AutoSense 6.0 to Bluetooth+streaming program without my intervention.

On the beginning I turned off the Tap Control, but to no avail.

Then, after 30 mins I recalled that I turned on Bluetooth in my Surface Pro 5 (2017). However, it was asleep with closed keyboard.

I turned on the Surface, turned off the Bluetooth in it and voila! All problems dissappeared and I could even turn on the Tap Control.

Like @JordanK said many times, it would be better has unnecessary Bluetooth connections disabled!

Now I have Bluetooth active only in my smartphone.

I just disable all the audible notifications. Things like new email, texts, security notifications from the house, etc etc. even keyboard presses and mouse clicks can drive you nuts. Many of those sounds are so short they are done playing by the time the bt connection is set up.

They never really turn off, I don’t think, unless you really turn them off vs sleep.

I’ve found that myPhonak operates more trouble-free for me if I uninstall if after an update, the do a fresh installation of the whole app. I also need to turn my anti-virus program off for it to install properly.
