Starkey Evolv AI IIC draining battery

I’m going to take a completely off-the-top-of-my-head guess, and speculate that there might be moisture creating a short circuit of some sort, and eating the battery charge. Do you have a dryer/dehumidifier?
Otherwise, could it be that your hearing has changed enough that the aid is having to work harder? Or, perhaps the one aid is stuck and can’t automatically shift out of a more draining setting?
I’ll be interested to see what it turns out to be.

How old is your HA?

Could be as AttilaDaPun said. But also when you remove the battery’s sticker, let the battery “breath” at least 2-3 minutes to be sure it’s completely activated. But yes 8 hours it’s clearly not normal. Ask your audiologist to push the program again in the HA and see if it solves the problem.

If you have the opportunity to change for the new Starkey HA do it.

I did some basics HA Starkey CIC Genesis 12. and the battery life was great
the client reported it could last more than 10 days. Which is really good for a 10 size battery.

I got the hearing aid back from repair. The guy installed a new microphone, new receiver and cleaned & serviced it and the battery’s back to lasting 3 days.

That’s great! Who did the repairs for you?
Did they have ideas of what caused the need for repair?
