Phonak l90s and listening to hifi music

Since getting my Infinio l90s, Sphere in August last year have struggled with my audiologist to find a music setting for hifi to givene a rounded sound, good bass and minimal distortion. Cannot seem to get this!

Bluetooth music is excellent but that is about it! When I want to listen to wide dynamic range music I take out my Phonaks and put on my B&W P7 headphones. The results are fantastic, wide dynamic range, attacking bass etc

I know the Phonaks are capable of better results as I did get a previous setting which produced excellent sound. Unfortunately my audiologist has been unable to replicate this!!

Any help advice appreciated

Ask your audiologist to copy the music streaming programming from your old aids ( since you say the previousset worked wonderfully ) . That’s super easy to do.

My previous hearing aids were quite old so mebbe not a goer!!

I had to change to a more occlusive dome type and have my audiologist adjust the low frequency volume in the programming. Listening to streaming music before that was really annoying. There was an unimpressive dynamic range, very limited and flat.

Are you talking about Bluetooth streaming or hifi speakers? If the latter, my approach was to copy the Bluetooth streaming music settings to the music program. From there, I did some fine tuning until I had a fairly natural sound from the speakers. When I first got the spheres listening to music over speakers was quite unpleasant due distortion, loud howling when multiple voices sang together and very little bass. After the changes, listening to music is a joy.
