Yes, there are a couple of threads using the C82. Note that changes in the firmware have been made since these threads where started.
I have Jabra Enhance Pro 20 aids and a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra phone, both of which support Auracast, and I have been experimenting for several weeks with both my aids and also with both Samsung Buds 3 Pro and Sony Libkbuds S earbuds. To do so, I purchased and tested 6 different Auracast transmitters on 2 different Windows computers. Here are some of my findings to date: Of the 6 transmitters, only 2 work with my aids, 3 work with the both brands of earbuds but not the aids, and 1 doesn’t see…
Regarding my previous post on purchasing the Avantree C82 I have a (preemptively) exciting update. I received it yesterday and it did not work. It showed the device but greyed out and could not connect to the stream. I immediately spoke to support and reference this post by @wtolkien ReSound iPhone App now with Auracast support - #17 by wtolkien Here are the responses I received today: “Yes, our adapter support Resound Nexia Auracast, but the dongle you have support 48K only, not 24K for th…

These two dongles are both designed to work with earbuds and not hearing aids. Earbuds sample at 48khz or higher to maximize audio quality, whereas hearing aids sample at 24khz to minimize power consumption.
Avantree makes a version of the C82 dongle that does work with hearing aids, called the C82 , I have that and it works perfectly with my Jabra Enhance Pro 20 hearing aids, as well as with my Samsung Buds 3.

The right current Avantalk dongle for hearing aids is the C82 , which uses the new Bluetooth low energy audio protocol.
I am using one of these to stream high quality music from my iPad to my Resound Vivias, which are also known as Costco Jabra EP 30. The sound quality is really excellent and Avantalk are currently working on the firmware to make handling improvements. You can buy the C82 LEA on Amazon for little money.
I’m not sure that the C82 actually exists as a current model now? @PhoebeY

Hi David, I did get a C82 and updated the firmware to the latest but I had connection problems connecting to my trial resound Viva 7, I have no idea what firmware were on them. I use an NVidia Shield to stream to my TV via HDMI cable but when I plugged the dongle to the shield it recognised the dongle as headphones so cut the audio to the TV, I did manage to get sound to the but I had connection problems. When I plugged the dongle into my new Hisense TV it failed to recognise the dongle. My goal is to stream my TV sound to my HA and have the sound from the TV speaker when required. I would like to get hold of the Home Spot BA210 V2 the clear winner from user990 post above but cant seam to find one on sale in Europe or UK. The Avantree Audikast 4HA looks to fit the bill, they are on pre order I will try one of them when they are available. I am picking up the Jabre Enhance Pro 30 from Costco a week on Friday, and I am looking to get hold of a cheap Nohalink wireless program interface as well. I could not get a connection to my Laptop as well.

I spent this afternoon listening to streamed music from my iPad connected by the C82 LEA to my Vivia 9s (same as Jabra EP30). It’s great and the connection was solid unless I went out of range, which is fair enough. It works just the same from my MacBook Pro and my Thinkpad with W11.
I haven’t tried to connect the C82 LEA to my TV because that isn’t part of my use case and of course it’s not the right connector without some thought.
If you want to program the Vivias then you need the NoahLink Wireless which you can easily buy on eBay. And SmartFit, for which you need to head over to the DIY thread in Hearing Tracker and ask for help there. It’s easy from there.

I have the Avantree Audikast 4HA, the Avantree C82 (Aura) and the FlooGoo FMA120, which I use with Resound Enzo IA hearing aids.
All of these are great products that I have used in the following ways
Avantree Audikast 4HA - this is a very easy to use TV streamer which can be used with enable headphones/earbuds and hearings aids. The sound quality is excellent and whilst I have certainly better than the Resound TV Streamer 2 which I used with my previous aids.
Avantree C82 Aura () - this is an easy-to-use Auracast Transmitter which I use to stream from both my laptop and Fire Kindle target. Good sound quality and very solid connection.
FlooGoo FMA 120 - this is not only an Auracast transmitter but can also be used as one to one transmitter i.e. it can be paired to an individual set of hearings aids/headphones/ear buds. It is more complicated to use/setup than the above two products and probably more suited to the more technically minded user. However, the manufacturer offers great support including a detailed thread on this site and it is a highly configurable device which can also be used as a Auracast receiver.
I have been using Resound Enzo IA aids for three weeks now and using their Auracast/LE Audio streaming ability on a daily basis. I think that LE Audio/Auracast already offers hearing aid users many improved ways to link up with their personal devices such as TVs, Laptops, Tablet & phones. The benefits will increase exponentially as more and more public venues and businesses start to offer Auracast broadcasts will I am convinced they will be motivated to do given that Auracast broadcast will be accessible to everyone with Auracast enabled headphones/or ear buds not just hearing aid users

Hi David,
Thanks for your input! Just to clarify, the C82 actually has two models: C82 LEA and C82 Aura. Both models are available, and they can be updated via DFU (Device Firmware Update) for improvements. It’s great to hear that the C82 LEA works well for your use case with the Resound Vivias!

Hi Steve,
Thanks for sharing your experience! For your goal of streaming TV sound to your hearing aids while still keeping sound from the TV speakers, I recommend trying the Audikast 4HA. It’s specifically designed for TV streaming and offers a seamless experience with -enabled hearing aids like yours.

I bought the Avantalk C82 LEA for 30€, they work great with oticon Intent, and are a big upgrade compared to the old tv adapter 3.0.
they are also way louder than the tv adapter, really enjoying them. and a fraction of the official oticon accessory. best way to stream from pc and consoles.
