It’s what phonak told us as part of the launch presentation. But your right, what does identifying a master do in that case? I’m not sure.

Neville, since Sonova did not update the look and feel of Target with the ultra upgrade (e.g. Speech Clarity 2.0 or AutoSense 7.0), maybe they did do what they told you but simply haven’t changed target to reflect that? And many other products would still need the Left or Right option toggle.

I haven’t got Infinios, but I’ve seen Target screenshots, and was under the impression that the fitting screen just says “Autosense”, without 6.0 or 7.0 shown

I updated Target to the latest version before proceeding with any use of Target. I believe the Ultra update is contained in the latest Target version. I also checked the Noahlink wireless 2 firmware version before proceeding. I found that my Noahlink did not need an update. When I first connected to my Phonak Spheres, Target detected that an update was available, I proceeded with the update. It is my understanding that I can’t go back on the update. I kept my old settings so far. I think I need to run a feedback test, but haven’t done so yet, I just didn’t want to change anything else yet. One step at a time.

I was thinking more of under the instrument details…
Do you know where in Target the “coolness” slider is? I just installed Target last night, and my NoahLink Wireless arrived today; and on my drive into the office today I saw that my Spheres almost completely failed to recognize Miles Davis’s Aura as music! Clearly my taste in music is too cool for my Phonaks… ![]()

Sounds like exactly what I plan to do! Since I switched from OpenBass domes to “normal” open domes, I do notice a slight tendency to feedback on the left side - mostly only if my hand is near my ear.

Excellent. Just stay one step ahead of me, and tell us all the details!

Please save your settings before running the feedback test . After running the feedback test with DSLv5 , my 6/8K gains went down and the software increased the limits in this frequency range . I did not see this change with the
