Excerpt (translated) from the (Germany) press release: The Oticon Intent miniBTE R includes both 85 and 105 dB fitting levels. This gives hearing care professionals unprecedented flexibility during initial fitting. Depending on the individual’s hearing needs, the Genie 2 fitting software allows users to switch between the 85 dB fitting level for mild-to-moderate hearing losses and the 105 dB fitting level for moderate-to-severe hearing losses. Previously, this required two different hearing system models. Furthermore, asymmetric hearing losses can now also be treated with a discreet and uniform BTE design.
