Does anyone else like decorated/having fun colored hearing aids?

hi again!!! this might be a very big indicator of my age all things considered but does anyone else like decorating their hearing aids or getting fun colors?

maybe i was able to get away with it since i was younger but all of my hearing aids have been some color besides beige or skin toned and i just love them!! im at a point in my life where i dont really care what people think of my hearing loss and having a pink and purple hearing aid is just so fun to me! no shade to anyone who does have beige, everyone’s got their preferences!

does anyone else have fun colors or decor for their hearing aids/cochlears?? i’d love to see em !!

I’m wearing blue ones, my previous ones were beige (kinda boring). I like the blue ones, but I think they’re kinda subtle.

me! once did unicorn stickers on my hearing aids (with now because unicorn skunk punk and there’s grey hair on my head too) :smiley:

Love it. We’ve got members that are totally self conscious of thier aids barely poking out the top of their ear and we’ve got others with florescent pink and purple aids you cant miss. Interesting…

Yep, “away” as in at HOME, on the phone, trying to line up my 100-yr-old mom for various doctor appts to have ALL her teeth pulled, get in to see an , have new AIDS prescribed, get doctor authorizations/referrals done … from 3,000 mi away. I’m in uncharted water here.

When I ordered mine this past June, Sienna Red, Atlantic Green, Velvet Black and Champagne were not available. From what I have read on other forums, these colors were not available to those who ordered their aids after their release. I ended up with Graphite Gray.

I’m wondering if the aids can be color wrapped with a thin vinyl as customizers do with automobile bodies.

YES! That is what I’d like, too, for my older rechargeables in “champagne” and “silver”. Hey, it should only cost 50-cents to have an auto wrapper do our aids, right? So little material needed they’d have to lay it on with a tweezer! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

While I miss my Bernafon red with Chinese dragons aids, I’ve been using nail stickers on my boring black Jabras.

It’s not an “age” thing. I will be 80 years old in May and was very disappointed when I got my new Infinio’s that I could not get a “color.” All colors seemed designed for camouflage not “show off!”

Another reason for wanting color is that my vision is now such that I have trouble finding things if there is no contrast.

I tried the stickers on my Signia’s, but the side of that hearing aid is not FLAT and they would not last. I may try again.

For awhile, I was wearing some Def Metal accessories (the little holsters, look them up online) but since I got Widex smartics and custom molds, my Audiologist said she doesn’t want me hanging anything on the tube or the unit. So I’m still thinking about a way to show my colors. I had a real cool multi-colored braided leather thing that draped around my neck and fastened to my collar with a (useful for multiple purposes) alligator clip.
