Phonak app - No internet connection

Merci! No, I am talking about the app. I can’t pair both aids in the app. If it finds the left aid first it then fails to find the right aid and vice versa. By the by, I’m English currently holidaying in France.

Are you talking about Bluetooth connection? There is no need for internet connection unless you are streaming, of listening to podcasts. I like it when programs actually can make a difference, but Phonak engineering claims there should be less need for many programs because of the automatic sensing and changes the new firmware enables. Lethal test and see.

No. I am not talking about BlueTooth.
It is about all functionality of myPhonak app. You canot use it (in most cases) or initiate it except with a working internet connection.
This was discussed in the group and some users pointed to this being the case to prevent Hearing Aids from being resold if stolen (and to keep a tab on the resale).

I use myPhonak in a phone that does not have a telephone connection.
I have used different Wi-Fi connections to update myPhonak.
Also installed myPhonak in a note-pad with no telephone connection.

Just noticed that the app no longer allows me to adjust the current program. If I click the current program in the app, the adjust button appears but is greyed out. Hopefully, my new Pixel phone arriving on Friday will solve both issues - only one aid pairing and no adjust.
