Jabra Enhance 700 Phone / Internet connection

I have a new set of Jabra Enhance 700 hearing aids. I have a moto g phone with Android release 15 operating system. I downloaded the Jabra app no problem. Seem to have the aids and phone paired as I can make all sorts of changes to settings on the hearing aids from the phone. But I cannot pick up a phone call with 2 taps as indicated by the instructions. I have gone to YouTube and cannot receive audio to the aids. I have rebooted the phone and shut down, restarted the aids multiple times. I deleted the app and reloaded. I got away from other devices, shut off WiFi, etc. and to no avail. I am feeling like there must be some other switch I am missing. Ideas?

I have Jabra 700s and a Samsung S22+ running the latest Android version on Verizon. On the Jabra Enhance Select app I could only stream out of one ear (I never tested the double tap function because I thought it didn’t work for Androids??). I switched to the Jabra Enhance Pro app (this is the one that pairs with Jabra 30s from Costco and it seems to work with the 700s too). Now I can stream both ears. Maybe you’ll have better luck that way or contact Jabra tech support (I’ve found them to be mostly helpful).

Yeah that’s interesting, I’m sure others will find this helpful with issues like this.

Well now the last 3 days my 2 tap eat to answer phone calls went out. It worked great for the last 4 weeks of training them. These are so much better that the minimax in the ear aids I tried. 2 modes quiet and loud settings were the same. Really, the 225 buck vivitones are just volume increase , no real clarity outside or busy stores while inside. The Jabra makes a big difference. Do you all that have the prescription HDs think I will notice a huge step up in clarity when I try out the Phonak Ultra Spheres soon to compare with these JE 700s.? Can’t wait to see. I will report back.
