broadcast audio is becoming more widely supported across major hearing-aid brands, and until Nov 2025, our testing has confirmed reliable Auracast reception with models from Jabra, GN ReSound, Beltone, Philips, Oticon, Starkey, Cochlear, and more.
Auracast vs LE Audio (Unicast)
-
Auracast = one-way broadcast audio (no microphone return).
-
/ Unicast = two-way audio capability (mic + voice), but implementation varies by brand, and compatibility is not yet consistent across the industry.
Many hearing-aid users are finding that Auracast works similarly across brands, while LE Audio / Unicast behavior differs greatly—sometimes even between models within the same brand. Your reports will help clarify what currently works, what doesn’t, and what needs improvement.
