Ah! Eye sea. Maybe next time.
I’m ready to buy a new TV system. Waiting for Phonak to release their firmware upgrade for though.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, The Space Foundation’s discovery Center space museum will be piloting the use of at our museum starting in the next few weeks and after the new year. The lead from the Space Foundation is Connie Munson. She just got a pair of Jabar Pro 30 Hearing Aids which are Auracast enabled. I just this weekend started trialing a pair of Philips 9050 auracast activated hearing aids. (I think the Philips Auracast app is more user friendly than the Jabar) We’ll be kicking off our project in two days. Let me know how we can work together.

Use a powered optical splitter to feed the two optical inputs. Works for me to have soundbar & stream to my hearing aids… just have TV sound set to optical.

That’s one solution providing you don’t mind missing the extra functionality provided by HDMI ARC.
Using the TV remote to control the soundbar volume
Soundbar auto power on and off with TV turning on and off.
Personally, I prefer having the extra functionality.

My TV turns soundbar on & off when connected to digital because they are matched. So I have flexibility using digital vs HDMI… my streamer needs optical input.

Avantree TV streamer Audikast 4HA has optical input. Some of our TV set also support HDMI ARC.
