Looking at getting Jabra Enhance Select 700. I struggle with clarity of voices, hearing music and feedback in groups louder than individual Im sitting across from. I would appreciate feedback from current wearers. Thank you

The “they don’t work for me, is it working with you?” : people have different types and degrees of hearing loss. What may work for someone may not work for you.

Can you get to a Costco fairly conveniently? If so, the Jabra Enhance Pro 30 is a better buy - probably the same hardware (if not, the Costco version is probably better), better software, and lower price.
The Select 700 looks a lot like the Vivia 7; the Pro 30 is the Vivia 9.

Plus: Professionally (Rx) programmed for the user, 180 days return policy, unlimited fittings, unlimited supplies, loss and damage coverage. There is no reason to get the 700 if Costco is an option for the user.

I did the online test at Jabras website. It showed Significantly Impaired at all frequencies. They recommended the Enhanced 700. I realize that’s probably also because its the highest cost.

I don’t have one close in my local area but I have at least four to choose from that are under 1 hour away

My Costco can’t book an appointment for me until June.
That is insane that your Costco has that long of a wait. I wonder why. Maybe they can’t find hearing specialists t in the area. Mine Costco I can usually get in within a few days. Sometimes same day!
Hearing aids are going to help you for sure, but just a warning not to expect a lot from them. They amplify the sound and can process the sound in different ways, but it is still a struggle (for me anyway) to hear speech with good clarity, to hear specific things in a noisy environments, and to enjoy music. Although I am starting to adjust to music settings and can get it to sound good enough that I don’t get depressed.

I’ve been hearing more and more stories about the long wait times at Costco. Last year, my local store had a two-month wait, and now someone I know is facing almost four months. With demand so high and only one fitter available (My store has two but I’ve not seen two people being fitted at the same time, I check when I go to Costco), it’s no surprise.
We’ve been promoting Costco a lot around here, and word has definitely gotten out.
One thing I’ve noticed: they’re now open on weekends, whereas my local center was only open on weekdays last year.

My busy Costco usually books hearing appts about 6 wks ahead (sooner, not usually possible); it’s in a busy metro area but on the edge of same. There are three hearing techs working there. Sometimes Sundays offer options; the Sunday hearing aid clinic is usually open with one tech on duty. My last adjustment was done on a Sunday, but I had requested same. If they aren’t too far away, you might try requesting a cancellation slot!
