You obviously don’t read. AI research is 1 of 4, or so sources I look at for research that I do, and I clearly understand AI’s immaturity and limits. I have worked in tech for 33 yers including three semiconductor manufacturers, Microsoft, Siemens, 100 start ups and other as a hired gun. Have nice day and read.

So is this what lead you to the multiple posts citing that you needed ‘oxygen’ in the canal rather than venting.

Well you aren’t the only one. I sm a retired IT professional, Microsoft Certified System Engineer Master level. Retired from Dell Computers, working at Microsoft as a contractor. I am also an electronics technician/engineer. With over 50 years in the fields. The Navy showed me my capabilities as a troubleshooter and researcher. I have also worked with the development engineers, and marketing and unfortunately marketing most of the time controlled all of the documentation. And even when the engineers said that isn’t possible and the marketing department would over ride engineering. There is no way that Phonak is going to cut their own throat by taking away the reason that so many prefer Phonak aids. And the ones that prefer Phonak are the ones with more severe and profound hearing loss. Profound and severe hearing loss requires very small to no venting. Don’t take the marketing documents as literal fact because it isn’t. My audiologist is a professor of audiology and fits more Phonak aids than any other brands of aids. He explained to me why the Spheres were going to be best for my hearing loss. My ear molds will have very small vents because of my type of hearing loss. My audiologist over the last 7 years has taken me from a very poor speech understanding with my aids to where I am now with over 90% speech understanding. But I still have issues in extremely noisy environments, which is the reason for the Spheres. That would not be possible with open domes and huge vents.

I believe this to be a troll. Too many assertions, many which make no sense, and not one traceable reference in this thread or in another thread where the same assertions are made.

Most legitimate researchers will back their conclusions with citations regarding their sources so that others can read the source for themselves.

Since we are unable to review your original source(s) we are left with YOUR interpretation of them which may or may not be correct.

I don’t work for you, but I share my results in the form I choose when I have time with positive intension, perspective and opinion like everyone else in the forum. I find most everyone to be positive and in good spirit here just looking to help each other hear better. Not to worry I have sources, I just don’t have time to present a white paper. It seems as though you prefer to find fault and argue rather than focus on helping. I am looking forward to sharing my initial user experiences on The 2.0 release and on my Spheres in the next few weeks as time allows. What I share will be original source material which I so appreciate in this forum when users share their’s first hand.

Hey boss, i picked up my Sphere Ultra’s today. For starters since my custom slim tip custom vented molds have not arrived I asked my provider to put on vented domes which many warned would be awful. I am at 105% with 3 prescription programs I asked for for specific reasons

. No feedback. I have driven the freeway, podcasted, listened to music and am now watching Dish. Also have been on the phone. I was in my office and could sharply and clearly hear my wife and our contractor 40 fit away in the kitchen with my door half closed. Look forward to day two. Original source information is the gold standard. Thus far Sphere is the GOAT. CHEERS.
