Has anyone upgraded to 1.3.0 which I believe became available in October. If so - any issues and any noticeable improvements?

Yes, me. ! Google fast pair is a one-off thing. Still waiting for an app upgrade. There are issues with the app when using the Auracast assistant that comes with Google Pixel phones.

When and how did you find, and get a firmware update? I called Philips and they would not tell me yes or no to the existence of of an update. They told me to check with Costco. I called at random 2 stores and neither had been told of a firmware update.

I updated at home. I’ve got the Noahlink device and the fitting software. One of the Oticon guys got the Oticon update so I checked and it was there. I’m not surprised that no-one’s admitting to its existence. There are issues with it and the Philips app. Until the app is updated I expect it will stay under wraps.

I don’t have 9050s, so I can’t open full app (w/o pairing). When I looked at v 1.6.0 a few weeks ago, I thought I saw “search for AuraCast” line on the picture of the app in the App Store, but I don’t see it for v 1.6.1 although the notes say “it also allows you to find and join available AuraCast broadcasts…”

I updated the app but I don’t see anywhere to see if auracast is available.
You wont see it until you update the 9050s, then it’ll be in the app.

I updated the previous version which left some of the ha button functions not working. Had to be sent back to Philips. Costco in Australia only have hearsuite 2025.1 and I have 2025.2. I think I might let Costco upgrade this time - when they eventually get 2025.2

when they eventually get 2025.
That will happen about five minutes after they’re told that they can. I had some hairy moments with the last one. This one no problems.

My Phillips Android app just updated to 1.6.1. There’s an assistant. Costco might do that firmware update now?

Long press on the hearing aid buttons disconnects from the broadcast. I can see the uses but it means changing programs means an extra long press and then you have to reconnect to the broadcast.
I don’t see it for v 1.6.1
Tap on the ellipse (3 dots) on the sound screen.

I was in Costco four days ago and asked if there were any newer updates for the 9050 and they looked on their computer and said no. I have 1.2.0 on mine.

My firmware was upgraded to 1.3.0 this past Sunday at Costco in Niagara Falls Canada (I live in the Buffalo area). I suppose the upgrade is available from any Costco. The new HearLink 2 app version is also available from the AppleStore. streams can now be selected from the Sound screen by clicking on the 3 dots on the lower right. I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro, and am having no issues.

Was told yesterday, 11/15 by a from a Mass Costco that the 9050 firmware would be happening in “about” 10 days. She did not know what the specific items would entail. Will see…….lol
