I get an echo when using the Oticon intent l with the iPhone as a mic. Is this blue tooth delay? Or am I doing something wrong?

m I doing something wrong?
might be poor app and microphone. you should at least use a connect clip. those apps are bare bone and don’t expect much.

I have the same experience with the iPhone’s “Live Listen” feature. It is probably caused by the delay between the live assist sound and the sound entering your ears directly (This is my theory, I can’t confirm it).
I’m assuming you are using the IOS built-in live listen feature, not an app.

When using “live listen,” you must turn off the microphones built into the hearing aids to avoid the echo effect.
