I have a new HP laptop with LE audio and am able to pair my Oticon intents with the computer and they function as anticipated showing up as both an audio output device and a microphone input device. The problem I have is that if I restart the computer I am to reconnect to the LE and they show up as a BT device but they dont show up as an audio output device or as a microphone in order to get them to work I have to repair them again? Thoughts

try installing the bluetooth driver, not through windows update. Hp uses intel or realtek, check which one you have and install the driver. This might improve the bluetooth le.

with my phonak Naida M70-SP i have to use my phone as a tether (transmit windows audio to aids) can oticon directly pair/connect to windows 11?

Your aids have classic Bluetooth, they should pair to your windows PC.

Oticon cannot directly pair to Windows unless the machine supports . The cheapest solution otherwise is PicoASHA, then an Auracast dongle from FlooGoo or Avantree.

Your marvel hearing aids can pair with two devices, active connect to one. If you turn off on phone temporarily, you should be able to pair to pc. Remember to restart the aids to enter pairing mode.

Bluetooth settings in Windows should show the option if it is supported. Not sure how common it is yet but definitely not all new PCs. Built in is unstable in some machines. Does that carryover to Auracast too?

My new windows 11 laptop says Windows LE audio. It connects to my Oticon intents as long as the hearing aids are not connected to my phone as well. It seems to be an either-or thing. is not mentioned in the setting LE audio is. See photo below

Yes, it’s . I think all Windows systems that work were one to one (unicast) and now some can also do one to two (not full ). LE Audio is a broader description and so far you likely need a dongle to support Auracast.

Whenever I connect to Windows 11, the audio will have artifacts (cuts in/out) where as on Windows 10 i never had issues

My Windows 11 “preview” edition for the intel chip on my surface pro updated in January and I can confirm significant improvement, though I still need to manually kill the bluetooth connection to my phones bluetooth. Previously I could only get the left hearing aid to connect on my jabra enhance pro 20s

My guess is the cutting out is due to another bt device wanting to have a say.

I would agree with whitehat on this, I had the same issue and found the ’s trying to connect to multiple things.
I now connect and disconnect to each thing, bit of a pain but gives me a clean and solid connection. I just wish Bluetooth connections could be controlled/managed via the app but I guess that’s asking too much at this stage.
