After two trips to audiologist to change my Phonak audeo sphere infinio settings to limit spheric speech activation to manual use only, I am still having problems with the audiologist’s “fix” such that it still activates from Automatic and kills my battery. So I would like to remove it from Automatic.
Can you provide a link to get the full download of Target 11? (BTW I am familiar with the requirements including spending a couple hundred bucks on the necessary hardware.)

Given the millions of websites, it’s inevitable that we may often be unaware of sites that can be very useful to us. This one now has a prominent spot in the list of my saved websites!
FYI, I had an extra challenge given the fact I no longer have a reliable PC to run the Phonak Target 11 software for my infinio sphere and my old mostly reliable computer is a ten-year old MacBook. That meant figuring out how to use the Mac’s built-in Bootcamp app to partition a portion of the drive to run Windows 10 — and of course to find and install a copy of Windows 10 from Microsoft. Job done although I wonder if the current free install of Windows 10 will continue to operate without paying. — so far I have just seen pop-up reminders that I haven’t purchased it!
I mention all of this in case others want to explore DIY and don’t have Windows-based computers. It took me about an hour and actually was able to “talk” to Google to help. Their Gemini product can be useful but for those who don’t know it all of these so-called Large Language Models like Gemini and Grok tend to fill gaps with fiction. They call it hallucinating, which is a nice way of describing lying!
Now I need to spend some time here studying how to use the Target 11 and purchase the $200 hardware from Amazon. I will report back…

Actually all the information for using Apples PC is right here on the forum, you can use the search button to help find things like this ( I know, sometimes we just like to work things out ourselves) but anyways I’m sure you’ll find target easy enough to navigate, use the demo simulation mode to see how things work.

Darn, it never occurred to me that you would have instructions for partitioning my MacBook hard drive and finding/installing Windows 10 to allow it to run Target 11. I’ll research this site to see if I will be able to keep using the ancient Windows 10 without paying for it. Might luck out since I won’t be trying to update Windows. I have no use for any Windows-based software other than this app. Kind of surprised Target 11 doesn’t have a Mac version.

You shouldn’t be really, nothing much works with Apples, the world is windows based unfortunately, but also another clever forum member even worked out how to get the Noahlink wireless programming device to work on ARM based chips, which NLW doesn’t support!

I still have a working (but verrrry slow) 15-20 year old PC laptop and probably could have used it and avoided the need to use a Windows emulation on the partitioned MacBook, but the good news is the “soft Windows” seems to respond OK. Thanks!

Yeah but you wouldn’t be able to run the later software on older PC, win10 is the minimum required nowadays.

FYI, my original issue was altering the “automatic” setting in MyPhonak to prevent Spheric Speech “rechargeable battery killer” from inadvertently activating, staying on and killing my battery before bedtime. Supposedly the audiologist did this for me months ago but the issue remained. However, I have had the for 13 months and the Ultra upgrade was never applied, so I just did that update a few minutes ago and I’m going to see if that one change will solve the inadvertent battery killing. I would be interested in hearing if Ultra solved that issue for anyone experiencing the same issue.
