Don’t know if this help or relate…there is an open source project called 3D Tune-In Audio Toolkit13 which can simulate hearing loss and hearing aid. There is also 3DTI VST Plugin8 available.

I did go to Github but was unable to find that information as I am unfamiliar with GitHub and how information is structured in there. Hence my question, which I am happy that you have answered, thank you.

You’re welcome. Yes GitHub is “Techy”, but it’s usually structured with the various files at the top, and as you scroll down the page an intro to the app itself, and instructions.
And to your query:

Unlikely, as testing would be a lot more effort. But maybe someone else will contribute the windows builds.

Thanks, that’s good info, will review to see if some of this makes sense to integrate. As there is a 3D focus, it’s somewhat beyond of the scope of just optimising stereo mixes. I am in the process of implementing headphone correction via GitHub - jaakkopasanen/AutoEq: Automatic headphone equalization from frequency responses4, so the plugin can handle this in top of correction.

Hi Paul, I think your question has been answered, this is not standalone software, it’s a plugin for professional music production applications (like Logic Pro, ProTools etc.). So out till never run on phones. Currently Mac only - maybe someone will contribute and build/test Windows versions in the future.
