Just received my Cochlear Nexus implant a couple weeks ago on the right side. Wonderful surgeon said he inserted a slim full length electrode, but plan was to only stimulate the higher frequencies (for now).
We didn’t talk about using a receiver in the ear, but it’s in my kit of parts I received.
With my prior right hearing aid, I only heard the lows well with a custom mold and small to occluded vent.
I have a hearing aid on the left with 85% WR, but my lows (stethoscope frequency sounds) are entirely absent.
Anyone using this kind of (hybrid) setup, any brand? Curious on your results and any tips.
