Phonak spheres go quiet

So I have had these for a few months. They are not dirty. No wax in them. It does it with Bluetooth off or on, right ear and now left. They are dimming or dropping volume below app settings. I have tried soft resetting or making sure 100% charged. I replaced tips and ( which were clean ) I used a magnifying glass to look inside the Ric which is clean. Not a humidity issue. If I put them back in the charger they start out fine and then at some point 1 or the other ear dims. It doesn’t shut off, it goes really quite. Also the app looks fine, doesn’t show any issues.
I am calling the audiologist asap tomorrow, just checking if someone has had similar issues.

I have the Spheres, not the Ultras, I have had them a month. I have noticed them getting really quiet at the time I go in a very noisy environment for only a moment, like they were slow switching into speech in really noisy environment. Then I hear conversations but very little background noise. Then when I leave that noisy environment and enter a quieter environment I hear a momentary rush of background noise then it settles down to the normal sounds. I don’t always notice that switching sometimes I only notice that the background noise is not there then it is back again once I leave the really noisy environment.

I am aware they switch based on environment. This is not that. First, why only 1? And also why first 1, then the other. Those kinds of adjustments should be parallel.

I had this problem too, the device started fine, and after a while it started to be quiet.
Yesterday I was at the audiologist, and he replaced my receiver, not the device itself.
And it’s been working fine ever since.

You just described my issues better than I did in a different message. Yes, my lt aide ‘dims’ for no apparent reason and randomly. When I check the connection usually it is on, once or twice the Left was off. My Spheres have always been muddy so this is new and started 4-6 weeks after the firmware update. Baffling. Waiting for a call from the clinic where I bought them.
