MyPhonak app behaving strange

Over the past month MyPhonak app has been behaving weird.

  1. I’ve opened the app to find triple of each program

  2. I have three custom programs which I renamed using the MyPhonak app. The names reverted back to what is in Phonak Target. This happened on three occasions.

Anyone else? Phonak server issue?

A few questions

What phone?

Is it the latest version of the App?

What Phonak aids?

Are the aids up todate firmware wise?

Have you tried clearing the app cache?

Have you restarted the phone?

I am a retired IT professional and troubleshooter.

I have the Spheres not updated. I have the Samsung S25FE, and haven’t had your issues. But I have only had my aids for 6 weeks.

Did you get your aids as Ultras are were they updated by your audiologist after you had them for a while?

I saw a Dr Cliff YouTube video today say that there is an issue with the firmware update that could loss your settings in the aids.

Phonak Tech Support responded to me today, and suggested the same thing.

TBH that always sounds like a scripted response by 1st year support specialists who know nothing about troubleshooting.

I will give that a try over the next day or two.

You can do pretty much the same thing by going into the settings on the phone , apps, Myphonak app, select storage and delete all data. That does everything but delete the app.

been trying for an answer to this from Phonak support for weeks; nothing. Can I use the MyPhonak app for my K10s? I have tried to pair them, but doesn’t seem to work. would like the MyPhonak app to be able to use it to control the TV Connector re volume! The EasyLine app won’t let me do that unless I’m doing something wrong and it should.

I don’t know, I entered the Phonak world with the Spheres. For 15 years I wore Oticon aids.

Sure why not, your KS10 are rebranded Phonak model’s, so shouldn’t have a problem using Phonak Apps, did you pair to your phone first in your Bluetooth settings and then try the App again, follow this video.

I have both KS10 and Infinio Spheres. I use the EasyLine app for the KS10s and the MyPhonak app for the Infinio Spheres. It’s not possible AFAIK to use them the other way around.

Me too - it renamed the custom programs I made with Target and the app also locks up such that I have to clear it and reload it.
