I’m curious it anyone has tried any of the various Smart Glasses that are available that include captions / subtitles? If so how did you like them?

I have been on the trial period for Captify Pro. At first I was not happy with connectivity bluetooth issues, having to un-pair and re-pair every time I used them. That issue appears to be fixed. Customer service is very responsive. So far I have been testing them in the environments I most need them in, which is in noisy backgrounds. It still is somewhat challenging and I’m still evaluation that. I do find that when the captions do work, with no delay, they are pretty accurate and easy to read. There are some things that I’d like them to fix still - they caption my own voice, which is not ideal and it would be nice to have speaker identification. I did do a demo of the Meta Display glasses and found them to be much harder to read the captions and they were bigger and clunkier on my face.

Great feedback thank you! Sounds like some of the Glasses may allow you to build profiles for people you talk with. So maybe they would let you turn off your own profile so you don’t see your own voice. Excited to see the advancement.
