Signia App setup - Directionality or not

I use the Signia Charge &Go IX and Active Pro IX. When setting up the App for Active Pro IX it’s clear you enable the Auto Directionality and 360 Spatial Configurator. This affects the funcionality in different environmental situations a lot.

However, with the C&G IX I havn’t found an unambiguous answer what to select when setting up the Signia App. Does it have the same directionality features as the Active Pro?

My Audiologist claims it have, but on the web I have seen mixed answers.

Do you mean; you can direct the microphones direction? If so, then yes. I frequently use this in the universal program for noisy situations like riding in a loud car, furnace rumbling, concentrating on noise in the front and avoiding the background noise behind… It does work quite well incidentally.

Its only available on models 7IX and 5IX, the entry models don’t have it, but did you update the App,reinstall it.

Yeah unfortunately you didn’t mention this, so that’s the “other” reason you don’t have it in the App then ; )
