Recommendations to buy Phonak Sphere i90 online ?

I have had good experiences with both Fit and direct Hearing. Good prices and they both seem to be honest companies selling registered aids. But do not expect the same level of audiologist service as a local vender. I DYI, so that was not important to me.

I had good experience with InjoyHearing.com13. Received my Sphere i90s within a few days. Easy to make appointments online.

Phonak Sphere i90
FitHearing nor Direct show prices, Injoy lists these at 2,450 USD apiece. Not exactly cheap. They cost 1,490 Euro here in France (https://www.ideal-audition.fr/1).
Probably we should specify here what country the question/answers apply to. International shipping is risky and inconvenient (custom duties, warranty).

For most of the Online sellers I’d urge you to call them on their help line. In some cases texting works as well. Advertised prices are often controlled by the Manufacturer, however most of the online providers will offer discounts when dealing directly with the client. Some will offer a TV connection as an incentive to buy as well. Worth a call.

I bought Sphere i90s through Injoy. Shipping was fast and scheduling was easy, so credit where due.
However, I ran into what I felt was aggressive upselling afterward — I was encouraged toward another brand and quoted about $495 for what was described as an “Ultra” upgrade, which later turned out to be firmware rather than new hardware.
That lack of clarity made me uneasy, especially given how expensive these devices are.
Curious whether others had similar experiences, or how different vendors have handled firmware upgrades vs. new models.

One additional detail I forgot to mention: I ended up purchasing another Sphere i90 because I was told the “Ultra” being discussed was a new model rather than a firmware update.
Once it became clear it was firmware-only, I returned the extra unit. That experience is part of what made me uneasy about how the upgrade was framed.

InjoyHearing went up in price. A year ago I bought a pair of I90’s from them for $3198. When quoted $495 for the firmware update, I went to a local independent audiologist who did the update for $65 which included to confirm my domes sent by Injoy (which I eventually went custom silicone molds and they made all the difference in the world).

I bought from Wholesalehearing.co.uk8. I get my Helvetian-Scottish Sphere 90 from Glasgow
There was a bit hassle with customs clearance (unfortunately UK is outside the EU), but I am generally glad.
The only drawback was they sent me M receiver despite I wrote I have P receiver with Phonak Paradises. Seems they’re blindly follow Target software suggestion. However, it was minor inconvenience.
