Your response is very helpful and kind. I’m not a political person. So I won’t comment on the guvmints majority status and their mandate to reduce the cost of government, except … oh. Oh. Rant starting. We have a wonderful country. I’m proud to be Canadian.

They have just closed a number of wsib offices. WSIB administers the workman’s comp program. IIRC.

I have feedback in my left ENZO iA

Visited specialist today. Some setting changes. I’d cleaned the thoroughly. Even changed 4 microphone filters. My ears were extremely clean too.

Observation. Left moulded insert may be source.

Feedback is awful. Birthday Dinner in a noisy restaurant was great. Conversation. Not so good.

Ongoing. Frustrated.

Good you got to the specialist to address your feedback issue. You still have feedback after the visit?

What diameter of vent do you have in each inserts (earmolds)?

I was thinking the same thing. I've only used a pressure vent which I suppose it 1 mm in size. While there are many different styles, shapes and sizes of molds, @DaveL calls them inserts which I think of the shape of domes. If he could provide a photo of his "insert" then maybe additional suggestions can be provided to him.

Hey, please help—a request for people who talk on the phone: please give me some feedback.

Here’s my question for you: when someone calls you, do you answer and hear the caller’s voice right away, or do you have to wait 3 seconds? That’s what happens to me—someone calls me, I answer, I have to wait 3 seconds (I count 1, 2, 3 in my head), and only then do I start to hear the caller’s voice.

I’m an iPhone 16 Pro Max user.

I answered this question 2 months ago as best as I can. However, I use an android phone and never had an Iphone. Maybe folks with Iphone can offer suggestions. I hope you find a solution for your Iphone issue.

Here's what my left ear mold looks like. I have always used acrylic skeleton molds with pressure vent. If you look closely hopefully you can see the vent and opening for the tube in the mold. If not I can provide a better photo. Do your molds look similar?

Thank you for response with android users, but I need feedback from iPhone users, but there really aren't any people in this thread who could tell me if there's a 3-second delay in hearing the caller's voice. :(

Good! Now we're on the same page about your molds. Your fitter shouldn't have let you leave if you still have a feedback issue. Try and make another appointment asap with your fitter and tell him you still have feedback issues.

You're welcome and Happy Birthday!

I have an iPhone 16 Pro: Since day one, that phone calls delay is still an issue, P I T A. GN doesn’t give a hoot IMO. Am praying for the OCTOBER 2026 miracle: Costco stores getting the newest Starkey model, USA wide. I absolutely hate these Jabra EP Max h. a. I can’t tolerate not having the receiver IN MY EARS. Thanks for the support.

I usually wait a few seconds before responding with "Hello".

I got into the habit of doing this with my previous Oticon Dynamos so I just continued this with my ReSound Enzo IAs. I don't find this an issue. I have an iPhone 16 Plus.

Thanks for that. It's just been a 10 yr habit from using previous so I'll work on breaking the habit and answering right away.

In 2023 I needed new Ha's and tried the Resound brand, and there was a 2.5sec delay in my getting the notification notice from my phone (Samsung Galaxy) , unfortunately the notice from the phone lasted only about 2 sec. so I did not hear anything, so I switched to Phonak, and it's almost instant no noticeable delay, it may be a brand issues. Also the connection was not great. With Phonak it's solid.
